Shafin Kanji

Mr. Kanji is a founding principal and the current Chairman of KV Capital Inc. He is a member of the Board of Directors and Lending Review Committee of KV Mortgage Fund Inc. Mr. Kanji previously held the role of Chief Executive Officer of both KV Capital Inc. and KV Mortgage Fund Inc. Prior to founding KV Capital Inc., Mr. Kanji served as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Matrikon Inc. Prior to his tenure with Matrikon Inc., Mr. Kanji gained extensive experience while working with SAP implementing ERP software for several multinationals and with KPMG LLP in the areas of fraud investigation, insolvency, corporate restructuring and business valuations. Mr. Kanji is also the founding principal of Edmonton based Kanvi Homes Inc., which has been building custom single-family homes since 2006. In addition to holding a Master of Accounting Degree, he is a Chartered Professional Accountant, a Chartered Business Valuator, and a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors holding the ICD.D designation.
